What do you do after a hero saves your life?  Become a hero to others.  Once his live was saved, Michael Carraway  Jr. formed a group to feed the homeless.  CNN honored Michael for that effort.

When donation becomes real

Who knew when she signed up to be an organ donor when she got her driver’s license at 16 that Varessa Scott would later  experience the miracle of donation through her own mother.

Varessa is now a manager at the California Transplant Donor Network.

Mother, then stranger give him life.

When he was a teenager, he suddenly needed a kidney and his mother stepped in.  Then more than a decade later, he would need help again.  

Hero finds a hero himself

An active San Francisco Fire Captain Anthony Robinson was bed ridden and his heart failing, until a hero stepped forward.

Two mothers: An inspiring story of donation

Workers rushed, floats were built.  Yet in the huge building where the Rose Parade floats were being constructed in Pasadena, two women lovingly placed a single rose on a float.  To remember a daughter who died, yet who gave life.  Debbie Douglas and Evelyn Sterling shared that rose, but they also share a bond for life.
